SALINAS, CA (September 11, 2021) - VOLT Racing with Archangel saw a clean, but less than eventful Round 8 of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge as Alan Brynjolfsson and Trent Hindman brought the No. 7 Aston Martin Vantage GT4 to a top five finish at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

After losing a lap due to contact from a competitor, Alan Brynjolfsson and Trent Hindman carried the No. 7 VOLT Lighting Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 home in fourteenth position.

A Sunday packed with battles and promise saw Archangel Motorsports drivers, Alan Brynjolfsson and Trent Hindman drive the No. 7 VOLT Lighting Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 to a fifth place finish at VIRginia International Raceway.

Despite the strong pace and execution, Archangel Motorsports drivers Alan Brynjolfsson and Trent Hindman fought through adversity to take the No. 7 VOLT Lighting Porsche Cayman 718 GT4 Clubsport to a sixth place finish in Round 3 of the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season at Road America.

A weather induced return to the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge saw Archangel Motorsports earn a third place podium for drivers, Alan Brynjolfsson and Trent Hindman at Sebring International Raceway.

As the green flag waved for today’s IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season opener, Archangel Motorsports broke back into competition for the first time since 2003. The team was having a strong run at Daytona International Speedway, when a mysterious fault in the fuel capacity hampered their chances of a top ten during the final hour of the four-hour event.

Going from strength to strength, Archangel Motorsports has announced Adelie Technik as a partner of the St. Louis-based team. The partnership will see Adelie Technik President, Zach Holloway join team founder, Mike Johnson as a co-owner of the operation.

Archangel Motorsports jumped right back into the thick of things, pacing second overall, during the ROAR before the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway. This saw Trent Hindman and Porsche Cup winner, Alan Brynjolfsson turn their first laps of the 2020 IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge season in the No. 7 VOLT Lighting Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport.
